About Us
Moore Township Dems began meeting in February of 2016. Since then, we have met almost every local candidate who appeared on our ballot, including our US Congressional Representative, Susan Wild. When we're not meeting candidates, speakers come from the municipality and from groups like Fair Districts to keep us informed. We have a booth at the Moore Township Community Days in August. We phone bank, canvas and do poll greeting on election day.
Our organization is informal. We don't have elected officers, take minutes or collect dues. The group organizer is Vicky Woodard, who sets up speakers, keeps up the email list and emails everyone about meetings. Moore Township Dems is not affliated with the Northampton County Democratic Committee, but often works cooperatively to help meet county committee's objectives.
We meet monthly, the 2nd Thursday of the month.
